Central Elementary News October 28

10/28/24

Hello Central Families,

Wow! I am once again humbled by our generous school family! Thank you for attending conferences and teaming up with us to help your students succeed. Thank you for feeding our staff during long conference nights. Thank you for volunteering your time at the bookfair. Thank you for your incredibly generous donations to our "share the bookfair" campaign. I was inspired by every gesture. Thank you!

And now it's time to look ahead to next week; picture retakes and Halloween! We will once again (weather permitting) hold a Costume Parade here at Central. The parade will form along the front sidewalks and begins at 3:00 on Thursday, October 31st. Due to this very exciting and very well-attended event we will not be able to accomodate early pick ups after 2:30 pm on Halloween. Please plan ahead. You can read more about our Halloween procedures below.

Call or email our office if you have questions.

Dear Families,

We had so much fun this week with our Homecoming Spirit Days. Some of the favorite dress up days were crazy hair/hat day and inside-out & backward day. Then - on Friday, Lance visited recess!

Our third grade classes also had beautiful days to travel to Lansing this week. They even got a “shout out" on the State Senate floor. Pretty cool! Thank you to all the adults who joined us for the trip and helped us all stay safe.

Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without an understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses.
