Central Families,
Thank you so much for your generosity during Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week! As always, our amazing PTO took great care of us with donuts, massages, pizza (thank you, Bauer Family!) treats, coffee, salad bar lunch and t-shirts (pictured above). We felt seen, appreciated and loved. Thank you for all your many kindnesses.
Please take note of the dates below. Things are wrapping up and it's going to feel like a sprint to the finish from here on out.
5th Graders don't miss your very important Middle School informational meeting on Wednesday night.

Dear Central Families!
As you spring break clean, could you please save any of the following items for us instead of donating them elsewhere?
-Easter eggs (already matched)
-Toys in good condition
-Stuffed animals in like-new condition
-Games that are complete and in good condition
We have some staff and student morale activities planned for the eggs, and we can use the other items for our birthday prizes and attendance incentives. If you don’t mind hanging onto them until we get back from break, we can take them off your hands at our main office. If it's nice weather and you want to drop them off over break, leave them in a labeled bag or box at our main entrance. Email me at chorner@khps.org so I can swing by to bring them inside over break — PLEASE don’t leave them out there w/o doing that first.
Thank you for always taking such good care of us, and have a great spring break! ☀️ 🖤 💛

Hello Central Families,
This month we are learning to care for our Mental Health by Painting Kenowa Green. Paint Kenowa Green is our Mental Health Awareness Initiative that we run through the month of February. We chose green because the green ribbon is the international symbol for mental health awareness. During this month, we aim to start meaningful conversations about mental health, reduce stigma, and provide support for those who may be struggling.
Through various activities and events, we encourage students, staff, and the community to engage in conversations, raise awareness, and promote mental well-being for everyone. Together, we can create a more understanding and supportive environment for all. Let's Paint Kenowa Green and spread the message of hope and support!
This past week we focused on Collaboration and Team-Work.

Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without an understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.
