Hello Kenowa Families,

As we move to our last week of school before our Holiday Break, I wanted to remind everyone about our Enrichment Day this comingNewsletter 12.13.24.pdf.pdf  Friday. As you recall from an earlier communication we are having Enrichment Days on our half days of school. This gives our students some time to connect with teachers and staff in a different way. It also allows our students to learn something new or to continue growing in an area of interest.

Students will be able to sign up for these activities starting on Wednesday during Advisory. Please encourage your student(s) to look for the sign ups on Wednesday and I would also ask that students take advantage of the time on Friday. Relationships between staff and students are crucial to the success of everyone.

Also on Wednesday our students will take part in a survey from Michigan State University related to Restorative Practices and how it is used in our district.

We are looking forward to a great week of school and I know everyone is very excited about our upcoming Holiday Break!

Have a safe break and enjoy your Holiday.

Nathan Robrahn,
Principal

Hello Kenowa Families,

It was a great week back after our Thanksgiving break. Winter is indeed here as we also had our first snow day of the season. Please watch social media and the local television channels for those updates.

This week I wanted to let everyone know that we do have a new secretary in our Student Services office. Lauren Kramer joined us (replacing Kim Avinash) this week. Lauren comes to us from the college world where she has worked for GRCC and as well as San Antonio College. Please welcome Lauren to the Kenowa team.

Just another reminder that our last day of school before our Holiday break is a half day on Friday, December 20. Our semester ends after the break on Friday, January 17. We are encouraging all students to finish strong these next couple weeks.

Thanks again and enjoy the weekend.

Nathan Robrahn,
Principal

Hello Kenowa Families,

As Thanksgiving approaches, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude for our amazing school community. This season reminds us of the importance of kindness, connection, and reflection on the many things we have to be thankful for.

Please note that school will be closed for Thanksgiving Break from November 25, giving students and staff an opportunity to recharge and enjoy time with loved ones. Classes will resume on December 2nd.

We hope you have a safe, relaxing, and joyful holiday. Thank you for being part of what makes our school so special!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Nathan Robrahn,
Principal
