Hello Families,

We had a great full week of school and everyone is settling in well to the routine of 2nd semester!
As we move into February, I want to draw your attention to our Paint Kenowa Green initiative again. This just continues to draw our district together around Mental Health and making sure all our spaces are safe for all students. The information is available in this newsletter.

Dear Kenowa Families,

I understand it isn't always good to talk about the weather. But wow, that was some weather we had this week!

Thanks so much for your understanding as we worked through all of the schedules and changes that happened throughout the week.

It did seem that students were excited to be back to school and back to somewhat of a routine. I know many were tired, but happy to see friends.

It was a good day and we started off with our new cell phone garages and that went well. Thanks to the students for their understanding and ability to work with this for their own good.

Have a great weekend and stay warm.

Nathan Robrahn,
Principal

Hello Kenowa Hills Families,

Well, that is a wrap! We have completed the first semester.

It was a busy week with all of our classes finishing up their last projects and assessments. Students responded well and we appreciate all the work with our teaching staff.

Grades will be finalized a week from now and parents will be notified when the grades are posted in PowerSchool. We do not send out report cards, but please reach out if you would like one. PowerSchool does allow you to print a copy if you would like a hard copy.

Our second semester will start on Tuesday after a day off on Monday.

Finally another reminder that we are starting the second semester with our Strong Start process. I have sent home a letter indicating what that will mean for students and staff. This past week we were able to explain in more detail to all the students.

We appreciate all the support and have a great weekend.

Nathan Robrahn,
Principal

Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without an understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses.
