Zinser Elementary News November 15

11/15/24

This month the character trait we are focusing on in each classroom is gratitude. Students are learning that gratitude can happen in many ways. Being thankful for who we are and what we have, having an attitude of gratitude that creates joy, and doing things for others to show our gratitude are all ways we can put this character trait into action. I am grateful for the students, staff and families that make Zinser Elementary such a great school! See the activity link below if you would like to show your gratitude in an easy and meaningful way to a staff member at Zinser!

Great things are happening everyday at Zinser Elementary. It is exciting to walk in the classrooms and see students working together to figure out a hard math problem, or to see small groups of children working to learn letter sounds or reading a book club book together. Thank you for making regular attendance a priority. When your child is late or absent they miss out on important learning opportunities. If you are struggling to get your child here on time, please let us know how we can help!

Thank you to everyone who came out to Parent/Teacher Conferences. It was great seeing so many parents and children in the building celebrating the hard work that has already taken place this school year and listening to the plans for learning as we move forward in the year. Your partnership in this journey is appreciated. Thank you also to everyone who contributed food for the staff as they worked the long hours each night. Everything was delicious!

LEARNING

Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without an understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.
