Zinser Elementary News April 24

04/24/26

Happy Friday Zinser Families,

It has been a busy week with state testing, and this will continue into next week for our 3rd–5th grade students. We appreciate your support in helping students come to school rested and ready to do their best.

We are proud to share that our school has been recognized as a Showcase School for our commitment to the Capturing Kids’ Hearts program. This honor reflects the strong relationships our staff intentionally build with students each day, creating a culture where every child feels safe, valued, and connected. Through consistent practices like morning greetings, relationship-building activities, and a shared commitment to respect and accountability, our classrooms foster both academic growth and emotional well-being. This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our educators and the positive, supportive environment they create—one where students are truly known, supported, and inspired to succeed.

03/12/26

Happy Friday Zinser Families,

It was a busy week at Zinser with conferences. Thank you to everyone who donated food for the teachers during those long evenings—we truly appreciate your support and loved the opportunity to connect with you.

The carnival is just around the corner and will be another fun evening for Zinser families! We could still use some 2-liter bottles of pop and prepackaged desserts for carnival games. If you’re able to bring some in on Monday, please email mdevereaux@khps.org.

Also, many people have asked about fish at the carnival. There will be no fish, but there will be LOTS of fun!

Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Have a wonderful weekend!

Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without an understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses.
