Kenowa Hills Superintendent Gerald Hopkins expressed enthusiasm about Johnston’s appointment, noting, "Brooke’s dedication to building strong relationships and her ability to mentor and support her staff will make a significant impact at Zinser Elementary. We are confident that she will continue to enhance the school’s culture of care and learning."
Johnston looks forward to maintaining her hands-on approach with students and teachers while building new systems to support academic growth. "I want every student to feel successful and find their passion, just as I did when I knew I wanted to be a teacher in first grade," she said. "It’s a big responsibility, but together, our community can help guide these students toward their futures."
