March 14 is Pie Day
On Friday, 3/14, MS math classrooms will celebrate Pi day with activities related to Pi and of course, pie! Your child's math teacher sent an email in the last couple of weeks asking for specific donations. The email included a spreadsheet with a tab for each hour. If you would still like to make a donation for this celebration, you can use the sign up spreadsheet found in the email. If you are no longer able to find the Pi Day email from your child's math teacher, you can email that person directly to inquire about what may still be needed. If you have already signed up to send a pie or other item, thank you in advance for your generosity.

Congratulations!
KHMS was awarded a grant through the NT4Kindness organization to promote love, compassion and hope through acts of kindness. This week 8th grade student, Ryan Reichert, was awarded the NT4Kindness award. THANK YOU RYAN REICHERT! Mental Health Support

The directions, forms, and box to put the forms in are located in the lobby. The forms include some information to fill out related to the book. The contest runs from March 1 - March 28. Two winners will be drawn randomly for the $25 gift cards to Barnes & Noble.
  • Mystery book passages - Starting Monday, March 3, Mrs. Haines will read a passage from a mystery book during connect class. This will be twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. Connect classes can try to guess the book and author for a chance to win prizes! Student council is also sponsoring a door and classroom decorating contest with the theme of Under the Sea. LEARNING

Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without an understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.
